| So it turns out that I'm not cut out for dentistry because my 2.80 G.P.A. totally sucks. If I took the DAT's, I'd have to score a 26 out of 30 or higher to have the dental schools even take any consideration in looking at my application and really wow them in my interview. So I'm currently looking at lab tech jobs and hoping that it'll pay well.

| What the hell is up with people these days with half of their ass crack hanging out especially with they're just sitting down. I'm at the library and I've already seen like 3 people's ass crack. I didn't want to see them but you couldn't miss 'em.... the people these days.... they need a belt.

| Stupid work scheduled me to go to an orientation 10 minutes after my class ends at 2:50pm. I'm not going to get out of class early to go to this. "F" that!!!!

| Ok xanga it has definitely been a while since I last wrote in you, I'm already a freakin' 4th year senior in college!!! Why does time go by so fast!!!!
My summer has been pretty crazy and hectic. I worked 20 long painstaking hours a week at the neuroplasticity research lab. This whole summer my professor, Dr. Lin, made me do really tedious data organization of the thousands of brain cells I took pictures of with the microscope. I never knew that you can do alot of organization with just having a single set of numbers until I did this. Besides research, I took two summer classes. The professor who taught Limnology and Freshwater is a really cool and passionate guy. He's like this old nature guy who's kinda spoken, but he tries to crack jokes whenever he gets the chance to. During the course, we had to take a mandatory nature hike through UCI's arboretum. I never knew that UCI had an arboretum (basically it's an wetland area with alot of plants where people conduct their studies). So... I aced the class, which I'm really happy about since I don't get that many A's in college. The class I took was the last of the physics labs I had to take. It was basically a class where we messed around with light and mirrors. I liked it much better than the previous physics labs which had us build an electrical circuit which was kinda confusing.
Ok enough of school... So on Fridays, I volunteer at a Pediatric Dental Clinic. This summer, I was able to handle the suction and the water sprayer while the dentist did her put some sealants on kids. After I did the first couple of kids, I felt like I can really do this in the future. I just hope I get into some dental school. There's only 5 in California (UCLA, USC, University of San Francisco, University of Pacific, and University of Loma Linda) and like about 17 across the nation. I'm really scared since so many apply and very few get in. I just hope for the best .
I've also taken up a guest services job at a the Irvine Spectrum Center Mall. It's a really chill job that pays okay ($9.83/hr). There are 4 positions that we could be assigned to do and two of them deal with having a computer right in front of you. Most of the time I just study for the Dental Administrative Test (DAT) if I'm set with the computer. We get to operate a Farris Wheel and a Merry-Go-Round. However, the Farris Wheel has been going some upgrades, I haven't really gotten the opportunity to work it. It's almost done, so I'm really excited to operate it. I just wanna do it just so I can say that I was able operate a Farris Wheel during my life. I'm such a nerd.
Well yeah that's been my whole summer... When I go back read what I just typed, I really do sound like a nerd. I gotta find something else better to blog about. OOOh!!! I got to see the Plain White T's last Friday at UCR for free. They're ok but I wouldn't pay to go see them.
I feel so bad for Jung-Mi. She's been going through alot of bad stuff recently. I want to make her happy.

| I only had 3 hours of sleep last night because I kinda messed around playing pool and quiz peeps on biochem when I could have been studying, but I think I needed the rest after studying for like 8 hours the whole day. This morning I thought I was doom for biochem and evo, and so I was pretty depressed when I ate breakfast before cramming for last minute knowledge. When I was gonna put my plate away in the sink, I saw a letter addressed to me. Then, I noticed that there were colored streaks running around the edges. I knew it from that second that it was from my dearest girlfriend, Jung-M!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JUNG-MI, GRANT, AND SUSANA!!! Jung-mi I really liked the lucky paper clips. I liked them so much that I put them on my bracelet in hopes of getting those A's on my 2 finals today. I hope I atleast pass the classes b- or above.
